If you plan to do more than a few outings during your stay in St. Lucia, we would recommend you rent a car* as opposed to hiring a taxi each time, as taxis will actually cost more than a rental car in the end if you’re doing a few trips.

We have partnered with Budget Car Rentals so are pleased to be able to offer a 10% discount to our guests using their vehicles! Budget cars are available to all our guests staying in Marigot Bay and La Toc. However, if you are staying in any of our Soufriere-area villas, you need a larger 4WD vehicle from West Coast Jeeps.

*Note: We do not recommend that you rent a car from the airport to get to your villa. For your airport pickup, we very STRONGLY recommend you use our taxi pick-up service for a key reason: St. Lucia does not have a very clear roadwork/naming structure and finding your way for the first time (especially to some of the more secluded villas) can be a challenge especially after a long day of traveling or if it’s dark. So… we always recommend you allow the taxi to bring you from the airport to the villa so you can familiarize yourself with the area. The next day, we can have a car rental delivered right to your villa so you’re ready to go. It makes your vacation much easier 🙂
