DEPOSIT & PAYMENT: To confirm your reservations, we must receive a deposit of US $250 per person (paid by cheque,
American Express, Visa or MasterCard) within 2 days of your call. Payment in full is due 45 days before arrival date.
Cheques are payable to Omega Caribe Ltd. The rental amount or any charge made in Saint-Lucia is charged on your credit
card in our local currency, the Eastern Caribbean Dollar. In Saint-Lucia, the EC (XCD) dollar has a fixed exchange rate
with the US dollar which is the same rate for more than 15 years. Please note that Banks/Credit Card companies sometimes
charge a 2-3% commission fee for international transactions. Any other discrepancies with the amount shown on your credit
card statement are due to a different exchange rate utilized by your bank.
The following conditions also apply to all our vacations that include a sailing charter of 4 days and more:
- 25% deposit of the total vacation cost confirms the reservation. Final Balance due 60 days before departure.
Cancellation policy:
- 90 days of more prior to departure: $100 fee per person (minimum $300)
- 89-61 days prior to departure: Loss of 25% deposit.
- Less than 60 days prior to departure: No refund.
CANCELLATION FEE: 45 days or more prior to arrival: US $100 per person. Less than 45 days prior to arrival: No refund will be made. See above for special conditions applicable to our vacations that include a sailing charters of 4 days and more.
TRANSPORTATION: You can reach Oasis Marigot by air within one day from most major cities. To get more information about flying to St. Lucia click here, or buy a discounted air ticket on our flight booking page. On St. Lucia, taxi shuttles are available to and from Hewanorra Airport - Vieux Fort UVF (US $70.00 for 1-3 person(s), US$18.00 for each extra person). From George F. Charles Airport - Vigie SLU (US $30.00 for 1-4 person(s), US$5.00 for each extra person). Please note that there is an extra $5.00 for the taxi ride (not per person) if you are going to the Emerald Hill Villa, the Caribbean Blue Suite or the Great House. Book a taxi here.
GETTING AROUND MARIGOT: A ferry connects the north and south shores of the bay and runs every 15 minutes, day and night. The fare per person is EC $5 (US $2.00) a round-trip or EC $40 (US $15) for a weekly pass, unlimited use. If you're staying at the Ocean Cottage, the Vacation Club or Villa St-Lucia, we suggest you purchase your weekly pass in advance. It will be delivered to you upon arrival.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Visitors must carry valid passports.

- Children under 14 years: Vacation Club US $10/night, Villa St. Lucia & Pelican House: US $15/night, Great House US $20/night

- Children cannot be accommodated at The Ocean Cottage.
PROVISIONING: For our sailing charters, we offer the convenience and value of our split provisioning plan at US $28/person/day.
It provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, plus few evening meals. This allows you to sample island restaurants and saves you
the frustrations of shopping in an unfamiliar area. A large selection of soft drinks, beer, wine and liquor is available at reasonable
prices. You will be sent a complete list when we receive your deposit. The service of a cook for your charter is $128.00 per day.
You can also get the service of a cook when you are staying at the Great House, Villa St. Lucia or Emerald Hill Villa. The rate is
$60 per day for 2 people and $10 extra per day for each additional person. The cook will prepare 2 meals per day; you are responsible
for getting your own provisioning.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Checkout time is 10 am. Arrival occupancy is 4:00 p.m.
- Electricity is 220 Volts/50 cycles
- Local currency is the EC dollar (US $1 = EC $2.60)
- When renting the Great House, a security deposit of US $250 (returned one week after your departure) is required. A security deposit of US $150 (returned one week after your departure) is required when renting a Private Sea House
- Airport shuttles and departure tax are not included
- Car rentals can be arranged at discount rates
- Beach towels are furnished without charge (security deposit requested)
- While snorkeling gear for Ship'N Shore activities is provided at no charge (security deposit requested), for reasons of personal comfort and hygiene it is recommended that you bring your own mask and snorkel

How many days should we spend in St. Lucia before leaving on a charter?
If your charter is going out of St. Lucia, we suggest that you spend at least 2 days at the resort. This will give you time to acclimatize yourself to your surroundings and visit our beautiful island. It also gives us the chance to clear customs before your departure.
What time can we board?
At Oasis Marigot, we like to fill your days with activities and most of our charters and daysails leave at 8:45 a.m.
What type of clothing should we pack?
The key is to keep it simple. You'll spend your days in bathing suits and shorts, though for evenings ashore, slacks or a sundress are appropriate. Rubber soled shoes (as opposed to hard soles) are a must onboard, so wear boat shoes or tennis shoes. Above all, protection from the sun is vital. And, don't forget to pack using collapsible duffles when cruising, suitcases are not easy to stow onboard.
Should we tip our crew?
As always, the quality of service should determine how you tip. We suggest a tip of around 10% as a good guideline.
