COCO PITONS VILLA Located on the fringes of a World Heritage Site, the Coco Pitons Villa enjoys one of the most rare and memorable sights St. Lucia has to offer; the twin peaks of the Pitons Mountains jetting up from the ocean's depths with the sunlit backdrop of the horizon and just a touch of palm trees to frame the edges of your perfect vacation photo. The most heartbreaking item to forget to bring on this trip would definitely be your camera. Built from local stones and woods, the Coco Pitons Villa embodies the spirit of a true St. Lucian vacation home. With a unique open-wall design you can enjoy the sweet, refreshing sea breezes and the tropical aromas from the wide variety of lush island plants surrounding the villa. To top it off, the open-wall concept lets you dwell in the magnificence of the view from almost anywhere in the villa, taking your breath away every time.
The first floor contains the dining area, which overlooks the ever-so-private pool and sundeck. A fully-equipped kitchen stands ready nearby with all the modern amenities to make you feel right at home, even though you are in a secluded tropical paradise. The first floor also has a guest bedroom and a living area with cable TV. The second floor holds the master suite and two other bedrooms.
The Coco Pitons accommodates eight guests comfortably, making this villa ideal for a perfect family getaway, a romantic escape, or even a small corporate retreat. There is an array of fascinating and fun activities in the area, sure to thrill the spirits of anyone in the family or group. Visit an active, bubbling volcano, bewilder your senses in a breathtaking tropical garden with a picture-postcard waterfall, engage in some water sports or beach activities, get a little healthy exercise through jungle-mountain biking, or for the truly heroic, have a go at climbing either of the two Piton Mountains.
A Slice of History What makes this spot in paradise so special is that it is deeply enrooted in a vivid history. The Coco Piton Villa has built its foundation on what was once the intense battleground of the important, Battle of Rabot in the colonial wars between the French and English. This battle was won by the Brigands, a combination of slaves and French revolutionaries, ultimately leading to their freedom from slavery. Many historic landmarks of this point in history still exist in the area and can be visited. The estate was later used mainly for cocoa plantations.
