|A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS|
" We have gone to this resort 8 times now...what a sweet place! It has 11
individual sea houses (Vacation Club), a pool with water fall, a nature trail,
a small beach nearby, and lovely landscaping. The units all have a large balcony
where you can have breakfast as you feed the birds from your hand and watch
sailboats come in and out of beautiful Marigot Bay. Some units have air conditioning.
Four good restaurants are on the bay and what little nightlife there is usually
They offer sailing trips south to the Pitons or north to Pigeon Island. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Vacation club purchase is available but there is absolutely no sales presentation. We highly recommended this as a vacation to get away and rest. Everyone we have sent here has loved it. We took many pictures during our vacations that we wish to share with you. "

"Just wanted to say we really enjoyed the vacation. Oasis Marigot is one of
the most beautiful places in the Caribbean. We really liked the resort. The
staff and service was excellent. We look forward to coming again. We
might even consider a timeshare. Thanks again for a lovely treat and a
totally relaxing vacation. Sincerely,"
Michele and Randy McDaniel, Santa Fe, New Mexico
“We enjoyed the cottage so much we did not have a need to run around all
the time but simple to sit back, relax & be surrounded by natural beauty.
It was wonderful to have the dipping pool at Ocean Cottage. We loved the
place so much that we want a family reunion here next year at Ocean Cottage
so that all our family can experience a few days in paradise.”
Mrs. Pam Benson/Mr. Larry Sands, Philadelphia, PA, USA
“Our room was very spacious, beautiful & the view was amazing!! The staff
at Doolittles Restaurant was very warm & friendly.”
Mr. Douglas Swanson, Union, NJ, USA
“Our cottage pool was absolutely wonderful! The privacy was excellent. The

"Through a last minute opportunity, we were afforded the pleasure of a week staying the
Vacation Club. We found the property while searching on the internet for a Caribbean getaway.
We quickly decided that same evening to take the trip. It was well worth the decision to go!
From arriving and being greeted by Noy, to the arrival to our unit late that afternoon,
we knew our decision was a smart one. We enjoyed the relaxation at the beach, and the
planning on Sunday led to a wonderfully enjoyable week. Everyone was very friendly, and
the relaxation was immediate. We didn't want to leave at the end of the week.
The decison to sail with Noy and Michael on Thursday to Rodney's Bay turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! The sailing was wonderful, and we laughed the entire day. If a late booking wasn't confirmed for the following day, we would have sailed again with the guys on Friday. It would have been an easy decision to make; and anyone who visits should make the same decision to sail with Noy and Michael on one of the planned trips, or take one on their own.
The units were clean and well appointed. The grounds were well taken care of. On the last day, a hike up the nature trail afforded a spectacular view of the Caribbean and of Marigot Bay. The photo opportunities both there and every evening taking in the sunset afforded us fabulous pictures to remember our visit. Remember to listen to the recommendations of the staff for planning your week. If you want seclusion and relaxation, this place fits the bill. Take the opportunity; don't hesitate to book this trip. You will remember it forever. If you want more feedback, email us; we can email you a picture!"
Chuck & Pam, Pocono Mountains, PA
“What a fantastic time we had at Oasis Marigot. The pictures on the net do
not do it justice. We found everything exceeded our expectations. The staff
was so helpful and the restaurants in the bay were quite good. We should
have rented a car, although the roads were difficult, the traffic was not
too bad and the speeds were slow.”
Mr. James Hostetler, Highlands Ranch, CO
“What a lovely place. I don’t think we will be vacationing anywhere else
Sandi and Ken Parrish, Ada, MI, USA
“We never go back! Its a family rule you see, there is always somewhere new
for a holiday, nowhere is worth a second visit, and with the Internet to
search we are never short of ideas, never a reason to return! Until now
that is! Having considered many other places our minds kept wondering back
to Marigot Bay, the ultimate location for the independent traveller looking
for the perfect place to stop. Marigot Bay has it all, the proverbial deep
blue sea, breathtaking sunsets, the palms, the place, the people, all
smiles and Caribbean welcomes. The harbour creates a haven for sailors and
sunlovers - we chartered a white yacht (for first time, with a skipper) and
sailed the green seas and snorkelled with brilliant fish. Our sons were the
ones who finally persuaded us to return, so they can sail their own sunfish
boats and order their own grilled fish and punches from the shoreside
restaurants. The best place on St Lucia. Best regards,”
Ian R Green, Hampshire, England
“We have just returned from you beautiful island and wish to thank you for
your hospitality. Oasis Marigot was wonderful. After driving the island
several times Marigot Bay was the best place to be. Until we return next
year I will not forget waking in the morning with the sun, opening the
doors to the porch and seeing the blue sky, white clouds, green hillside
across the bay and hearing the beautiful sounds. Thank you again. My email
address is available for anyone wishing to speak to someone who has stayed
there before making a decision.”
Sumi Dolben, North Andover, MA, USA

“Gorgeous, everyone very helpful, lots of activities. Carole & Andre the
resident-managers were wonderful. Beautiful location, wonderful people.”

“Service was excellent. A taxi driver had been hired to pick up guests at
the airport so it was almost like limousine service. Also the midweek party
overlooking the Marigot Bay at a local private residence was memorable. We
had our own bungalow, which was very nice. I wanted to get away from it
all, I was able to and feel like the Queen of Sheba.”
Mrs. June A Gravitte
“Probably the best vacation I’ve ever had. The island is beautiful, the
people are friendly, and the water was wonderful.”

Activities: excellent sailing tour, the best part of our vacation. One of
the best holidays we’ve had.”

|VILLA ST. LUCIA|
We just returned from our vacation at Oasis Marigot in St. Lucia and
wanted to take a
moment to tell you what a great time we had. Our stay in St. Lucia before
and after our
sailing was excellent. We stayed in the Villa St. Lucia the first night.
beautiful place! Loved the pool!
We sailed on "La Petite Julie" with Francine as our captain. She was great!
Thanks to her, we had a wonderful time on board. We have nothing but good things to say about her. Her sailing, her cooking, her help with the local people and their customs were all first rate. We would all recommend her to our friends.
The staff in St. Lucia was also great. Nahdjla (Guests Services Coordinator) was very friendly and more than willing to help us. All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan to return. Thanks for a great vacation."

"We had a great time at the Great House. We watched people from all over the
world stop for a for a quick look at beautiful Marigot Bay, but at the Great
House Rosemary and I enjoyed the tropical splendor and scenic vistas every
day while lounging about in our private pool and on the veranda. Don't
forget to bring your binoculars to check out the dozens of yachts that
anchor in the bay each afternoon.Best Regards,"
Steve Rapson, Quincy, Mass., USA
We just got back from 9 days spent at the Great House and want to give
you our feedback. It was the most spectacular vacation house imaginable:
beautiful, well maintained, with a perfect layout for our family of 5.
The views are breathtaking. The landscaping is lush and tropical,
very well cared for. The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
We used our house as a base and with a rented jeep, explored the
island at our leisure. St. Lucia is spectacular, especially the
areas to the south of Marigot. The people are friendly and helpful,
especially the staff at Oasis Marigot. We spent a delightful day
in the rainforest and enjoyed the southern daysail arranged through
Oasis Marigot. I highly recommend the Great House and Oasis Marigot."
“Just a short note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your Great
House and our sail to Grenada with Pierre. It was really the most perfect
family vacation and we all had a wonderful time. We are thinking about
coming back down there in February of 2001 with 2 other couples and we are
interested in doing a similar trip.”
Mr. Stephen G. Gish, Hudson, Wisconsin
“House location, restaurants and activities are all excellent.”

"We spent our honeymoon in the Emerald Hill Villa on beautiful Marigot Bay.
I don't even know if there are words to describe just how awesome a place
and what an absolutely wonderful time we had. The house had a wonderful
ocean view with complete privacy high on the cliff above Marigot Bay
looking west to the Caribbean Sea. This was truly the most peaceful,
relaxing place, secluded, and utterly private the perfect honeymoon
hide out! Everyone we encountered in Marigot Bay was helpful and
courteous and made our time in St. Lucia the best it could be.
The restuarants on the bay had great food we ate at Chateau Mygo, The Shack, and Doolittles all were first rate. The Shack was a frequent lunch spot for us with the best conch fritters. Chateau Mygo had excellant dinner selections they even helped me jump start my rental car when I killed the battery by leaving the lights on (possibly the effect of too many Piton Beers). Doolittles was an excellant eatery and really fun place to drink beers and watch the world go by at the waters edge(special thanx to Dave).
We also chartered a sailboat for 2 days and had a fantastic time on the "Blue Spirit" with Glen as our host and able Skipper he made the trip lots of fun for us and was a great source of info on where to go, things to see, and places to eat. For those future vacationers that may wonder about renting a car when they get there, go for it driving was a real adventure it gave us the freedom to come and go as we pleased and a lot of fun for an American driving on the "other side of the road" for the first time! (it was easy).
In the past when a vacation was over part of me has always been looking forward to getting back home, but not this time when my ten days was over I was having thoughts of quitting my job and selling coconuts on the beach to tourists just to stay! Now not a day goes by that I don't imagine myself floating in the pool with a cold beer at the Emerald Hill Villa watching the sun set into the Caribbean Sea at the end of the day, relaxing doesn't even begin to describe it. This house, the bay, the people and the island were for us a vacation that has it all! we will definitely be back!"

"P.S. Special Thank You! to Letti our house keeper she really helped make our time in her country enjoyable!"

“May I take this opportunity to thank you and Oasis Marigot for a very
special holiday. My wife and I traveled to St. Lucia and we spent two
nights in the Ocean Cottage, then went on a four-day yacht charter, then
returned to the Ocean Cottage for one night before returning to Europe. The
Ocean Cottage was fine. We went sailing on “Blue Spirit” with Germain and
Dominique. We enjoyed this very much and want to pass our thanks to Germain
and Dominique. Again many thanks for providing an excellent holiday
service. It was wonderful. Please find below a short diary account of our
Because of jet lag we awoke very early, and lay listening to the sound of the wind in the palm trees. In the afternoon we crossed to the other side of the bay and met Germain, the yachtsman who would be taking us out for our trip. In the evening we went to “Chateau Mygo” for dinner. We drank double Pina Colada and Rum Punch, and then had some dancing.
We boarded “Blue Spirit`at around 9a.m, being introduced to Dominique, our cook for the week. We set sail and went down the lee side of St. Lucia, past the Pitons, and out into the full force of the Tradewinds. We arrive at our destination until after 5p.m. This was Wallilabou Bay, in a remote part of the island of St. Vincent. The bay was wild; there were only a few beach huts and a small restaurant. We collapsed into bed exhausted after our days sailing, at 8.30p.m.
A lovely sunny morning. Fluffy fair weather clouds piled high into the sky. We set sail, a short run across the gap between islands, arriving at the island of Bequia in the heat of the afternoon. It was hot and very windy. It was much busier and more cosmopolitan than the wilds of St. Vincent here were hundreds of masts, ocean liners, schooners and tall ships, golden beaches and a little town.
We set sail for the Tobago Cays around 10.30a.m. This was a fairly light sail past the island of Canouan, then a turn upwind past a reef and then motor into the Cays themselves. The Cays were remarkable and very beautiful; a number of small uninhabited desert islands surrounded by shallow seas over sand, which meant that the sea colour was the deepest and clearest turquoise.
In the morning start we took the dinghy and moored it to a buoy over the coral, and spent a wonderful hour or so snorkelling over the coral. Then we took lunch, and thereafter a slow sail down to Union Island, using only the jib sheet, arriving there mid afternoon. We went ashore with Dominique, our cook, to find some dinner, and we bought dolphin fish. Today was a beautiful sky after sunset. The Irwin 38 has a huge aft cabin; lying there watching the moon overhead through the open hatch and listening to the wind whistling past will be something we remember for a long time.
Alas all good things have to end, too soon. After breakfast we went ashore in two journeys, and checked our bags in for the short flight to St. Lucia. Then a cab back to Marigot Bay for our final day and night.”
Nicholas Hough, Derby, UK
“Activities sailing trips and crew are excellent. Wonderful sail!”
Mrs. Susan & Mr. Bill Hughes, St. Catherines, ON, Canada
“The activities were the main reason for coming. The sailing trips were
wonderful. Michael and Noy the skippers are a great crew. This is a great

services: Caffie was especially nice, you are lucky to have such a friendly
& bright young lady working for you.”
